….Good Morning😉
..9am..MORNING WEATHER CONDITIONS:
..Temperature-39*/RH-9%. Winds-South @ 2-5mph. Sky conditions-Foggy. BAROMETER-30.05 24hour Rainfall-0.34″ from 7am-7am.
..Thick Fog can be expected this morning along the local roads below 7000′.
..Winds are mostly light and variable mainly from the South and West today turning to the North after midnight.
..Wet roads from overnight Drizzle and rain will add to the poor driving conditions this morning and throughout the day.
TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:
..Friday, 04-18-2025
..Today will be another cloudy and foggy day across the Mountains, foothills and in the Valley.
..Light showers can be expected today especially along the front side of the mountain and the foothills.
..Currently the Marine layer has filled the entire area below 7000′ along with light drizzle and or light rain showers below that elevation.
..Temperatures will be cool again today due to cold air advection wrapping around the area of Low pressure passing through the Great Basin Region today.
..This area of Low pressure will stay to the East of SoCal but we will see a 30-40% chance for showers through tonight. The freezing levels will be ~6500′ so snow flurries can’t be ruled out above that elevation overnight tonight.
..WEEKEND OUTLOOK:
..As the area of low pressure passes overnight tonight, clearing skies along with a warming trend will begin tomorrow. A weak Ridge of High pressure will develop over SoCal for the weekend and Monday.
..Temperatures will warm up into the 50s and low 60s by Easter Sunday.
..LOOKING AHEAD:
..For next week, a more Zonal flow aloft will help to keep us in a fair weather pattern through the end of the work week.
..Late in the work week there may be an area of Low pressure pass across the PAC-NW that will increase the chances for morning fog and low clouds along with a slight cooling trend followed by a strong area of High pressure at the end of April.
..Have a great day and enjoy the upcoming Easter Weekend. RC
