..Another busy morning here at the Lakegregoryweather.com Weather Center.
..Today we have very smokey skies with light and variable winds mostly from 5-10mph around the area. Humidity levels are still very low from Running Springs to Big Bear, running from 10-15%.
..The lower elevations have much higher humidity as deepening Marine Layer moves into the lower elevations, RH values at upper Waterman Canyon are ~74% this morning, and ~78% in lower Waterman Canyon.
..The Weather today will be more favorable for the Firefighters on the LINE Fire. With the humidity levels coming up along with a moist onshore flow they should be able to make good progress on the fireline today.
..A Weak Trough of Low pressure is passing through the PAC-NW today. This will bring cooler temperatures to our area as well as a slow return of the Marine Layer. Tomorrow a Catalina Eddy is expected to form just off the Coast that will enhance the Marine layer as well as help to push it Inland over the next few days. By Saturday morning we could see morning Fog up to the local Foothills. This too will aid in the containment of the fire.
..Temperatures today will be a little cooler then a weak Ridge will pass tomorrow bringing a slight warming for Friday and Saturday.
..Sunday a deeper Trough will pass to our North with cooler temperatures locally and a deep Marine layer that may bring sprinkles to the lower elevations that are in the Marine Layer.
..The Mountains are not expecting any Rain from this Trough as it passes by just cooler temperatures and gusty winds. The outlook for next week very Fall like Weather for the mountains.

..My weather outlooks are derived from what I feel is most probable for our area. RC
