Good Morning.
..Another beautiful day in the mountains today! Fog is into the lower coastal slopes again this morning but will burn off by noon. The higher ridges this morning have a NE wind indicating an upper level pressure change. Temperatures today will be in the low to mid 70s for most areas today.
..For Tuesday and Wednesday, an upper level area of High pressure over the Eastern Pacific will expand into the Pac-NW today, then slowly moving over SoCal. This will bring in a slight warmup through Wednesday before weakening late Wednesday. The Marine layer will be more shallow for these days and temperatures in the Valley will warm up into the mid to upper 80s.
..Thursday through Saturday, we will have a return of an upper level Trough that will deepen the Marine layer and a return of gusty SW winds. Temperatures will cool again due to onshore flow through Saturday.
..We will continue to be in a Troughy pattern through next week as it looks now. So I don’t see any heat waves, or rain, in our near future.
..That’s it for now. Have a nice day, and enjoy the nice mountain weather.
..As we head into Fire Season please use caution in all mountain areas. Also I will begin today posting the Fire Danger levels on the bottom of this page also check the wx alerts page for an in depth look at the local fire weather..(Website)
..Have a good day and enjoy the great Mountain weather.*RC

Yesterday’s High and Low temperatures were:
Crestline-80/53*, Twin Peaks-72/59*, Lk Arrowhead-78/58*, Running Springs-74/57*, Big Bear-74/50*, GVL-73/48*, San Berdo-85/60*, Wtrmn Cyn-77/51*.

..On the main page of the website, www.lakegregoryweather.com I have added two live webcam views, one of Lake Gregory pointing North, and the other facing Southeast toward Waterman canyon. These are very helpful for the drive up and down the hill. If the camera view is gray, that means it’s foggy.

..Be sure to check out the other pages on the website for the Latest on El Nino, live webcams from around the area, live Radar, Satellite loops, Traffic conditions, along with live Weather conditions, and a live view of Lake Gregory from my weather station at the South side of the lake. Have a good Day! *RC
