Good Morning.
It’s a beautiful clear morning here in Crestline with light and variable winds. Warm temperatures stayed with us overnight with all but Big Bear and Green Valley Lake remaining in the mid to upper 60s.
..Today will be another very warm day across the mountain with highs running from 82-91*, depending on location. Big Bear and Green Valley Lake will be the cooler end of the temperatures, Arrowhead and Crestline will be on the higher end. There is a very slight pressure gradient from San Diego to the upper Desert this morning of around 3mbs. The Monsoonal flow will briefly brush our area this afternoon so I expect to see Clouds building up to our East over the Desert region again today. The chances for Thunderstorms will mainly be from the Colorado River area and East, today. The upper level winds will keep any storms that do develop from reaching our area today.
..Tomorrow the upper level area of high pressure now centered over Colorado will begin to weaken. This will start a slow cooling trend over the next five days. Also a weak Trough will move through the West Tuesday, further helping to cool daytime temperatures while helping to develop a deeper Marine layer. We may see a return of fog to the Inland Valleys Wednesday and Thursday.
..On the long range outlook, Temperatures will likely warm up again for late in the week next week, with the possibility of a return of Monsoon Moisture to the area.
..The increased Heat will raise the Fire Danger levels for the next four days.
..As always, be careful with any type of outdoor fire and make sure your outdoor pets have plenty of shade and water.
..That’s it for now!
.. Be sure to check on the Lake Gregory Weather Group, facebook page, for any radar loops or storm updates as needed.
Thank you. RC @

..As we head into Fire Season please use caution in all mountain areas. Also I will begin today posting the Fire Danger levels on the bottom of this page.
You can also check the wx alerts page for a more in depth look at the local fire weather..(Website)
