TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:
..We have clear skies again today with light Fog in the Valley that will burn off by later this morning.
..Looks like we have finally broken out of the wet pattern that has been with us for some time. A more typical June pattern is setting up and will become quite evident by the middle of next week.
..For today, we can expect clear skies with temperatures to warm a few degrees from yesterday’s.
..An upper level Low currently over NORCAL will slowly move South into the SoCal region over the next 24 hours. This will bring a few cumulus clouds to the area along with a chance for an afternoon Thunderstorm mainly to the Big Bear area for Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will be slightly cooler as well as the center of the closed Low will be over SoCal helping to increase the onshore flow and pushing the marine layer Inland for the weekend. The weekend will still be very nice weather wise.
..The closed Low will open up into a Trough Monday and remain over the SoCal region as a weak Trough. Temperatures will slowly rise through the week as the Trough moves East and High pressure moves over SoCal by Thursday. After that, we will be under a dome of High pressure and a Zonal flow that will bring typical June weather through the middle of the month. Sorry I’m running late today we had to make trip up North yesterday for family stuff and got home late.
..That’s it for now. Thank you for joining me @lakegregoryweather.com . If T-Storms do develop I will post more info on my FB Page “Lake Gregory Weather Group” including Radar loops and any local Warnings if they occur. *RC

..On the main page of the website, www.lakegregoryweather.com I have added two live webcam views, one of Lake Gregory pointing North, and the other facing Southeast toward Waterman canyon. These are very helpful for the drive up and down the hill. If the camera view is gray, that means it’s foggy.
..Be sure to check out the other pages on the website for the Latest on El Nino, live webcams from around the area, live Radar, Satellite loops, Traffic conditions, along with live Weather conditions, and a live view of Lake Gregory from my weather station at the South side of the lake.
