TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:

..Good Morning.
..A beautiful morning across the mountain. Temperatures will be warming up into the 60s for most areas, with clear skies today. We will have Light and variable winds today..
This will be the forecast for tomorrow as well with another nice day in store. The Coastal areas and possibly into the IE will see morning Fog return tomorrow as onshore flow increases. A Catalina eddy may develop tonight helping to push the Marine layer Inland and up against the local foothills tomorrow morning and Friday as well.
..Friday things will begin to change as a weak area of Low pressure arrives off the SoCal Coast. This will bring increasing clouds to the area with Ridge Fog likely by Friday night. There will be a chance for a rain shower Friday as the Low passess over SoCal. This will not be a big rainmaker, or bring much if any snow, except to the higher elevations above 7000′. Rainfall amounts are running from .10-.40″ locally with the most along the West facing slopes.
..Saturday we will have clearing skies with gusty NE winds developing behind the departing Low. Temperatures will warm back up again to around normal for this time of year through Sunday.
..Monday and Tuesday there will be another area of Low pressure move through the region with another chance for some rain showers. Again, this system will not be a big rainmaker either. Maybe a little colder with snow flurries to the 6500′ level. No significant accumulations are expected from rain or snowfall.
..After Tuesday’s system moves through, Wednesday and beyond look like nice Springtime weather for the SoCal region through the 26th at least with High pressure keeping things warm as well./strong>

..Have a good day today and remember to practice the advice of the Health officials while we all work together to get through these trying times. RC
